Kim Seon Ho stars in the new Disney+ K-drama ‘The Tyrant.’ This spy-thriller series is directed by Park Joon Hung with a star-studded cast, including Cha Seung Won, Kim Kang Woo, and Jo Yoon Soo.
The series takes place in the same universe as director Park Hoon-jung’s sci-fi action film franchise ‘The Witch.’ The series centers on a group of individuals searching for the final sample of a bioweapon that went missing during its transfer between US and Korean Intelligence Agencies.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas for GMA Integrated News, Kim Seon Ho said he previously worked with the series’ director several times and discussed details about the show.

“I love the action and dynamics between the characters in this show. Even before I got the script, Director Park told me the narrative and storyline, and I knew it would be amazingly fun.”
Before starring in ‘The Tyrant,’ Kim Seon Ho appeared in romantic dramas like ‘Hometown Cha-cha-cha’ and ‘Start-Up.’ He demonstrated his versatility as an actor by showcasing his sinister side in the action film ‘The Childe.’
Kim Seon Ho challenges himself once more as he stars in Disney’s new series. The character is reportedly unlike the ones he has played before.

“He’s the youngest director in his unit but he’s someone who wants to protect the Tyrant Program at all costs.” Seon Ho elaborated on his character.
“And no matter what the situation… he keeps his calm. In the face of a crisis, he can even enjoy a nice brunch. That’s how poised he is,” he added.
‘The Tyrant’ released its first two episodes on Disney+ on Wednesday, August 15.
