South Korean superstar Kim Ji Soo signed a contract with GMA on August 28, officially making him a Sparkle artist. Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Talent Development and Management First Vice President Joy Marcelo, and GMA Network Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable were among those who were present during the contract signing.
Kim Ji Soo is a widely recognized actor in the South Korean entertainment industry. Some of Kim Ji Soo’s dramas’ include the popular series “Scarlet Heart,” “Strong Girl Bong-Soon,” and “River Where The Moon Rises.”

The Korean actor is no stranger to Filipino show businesses. He recently appeared in the GMA Network drama series “Black Rider” as Adrian Park. During his performance in the series, he had several interactions with Yassi Pressman, who plays Vanessa. Kim Ji Soo also joined the network’s afternoon prime series “Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap” as Dr. Kim Young.
News of Kim Ji Soo joining GMA Network has made mixed impressions on many fans. Many netizens have posted their adverse reactions to GMA’s newest star. Their posts are due to the alleged case of Kim Ji Soo as a bully and several past assault cases.

Kim Ji Soo expressed his honor in becoming a full-fledged Kapuso, stating that this new opportunity allows him to do everything he can to make Pinoy fans happy.
“I am deeply honored to share this new milestone in my acting career and signing with Sparkle GMA [Artist Center],” the actor stated. “It will open new opportunities. I’m eager to work with GMA. I just wanna say I promise you to do my best. Salamat po.”
