Ticket scalpers for K-pop girl group 2NE1 called the attention of returning senatorial candidate Kiko Pangilinan on Monday, October 21. He said the unlawful ticket reselling for 2NE1’s Manila concert should be investigated.
2NE1 is set to hold their “Welcome Back” reunion concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on November 16 and 17. Ticket selling for the 2NE1 Manila concert started earlier this month, with both dates declared as sold out.
In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Kiko Pangilinan expressed concerns over ticket scalpers reselling passes for exorbitant prices.

He also mentioned that they suggest passing a law that punishes ticket scalping.

According to Inquirer, Kiko Pangilinan’s camp said that scalpers are reselling the tickets to 2NE1’s concert schedule for an average price of ₱38,000 to ₱40,000, even though the VIP soundcheck and send-off sections only cost ₱16,500 originally.
As of writing, neither the concert organizers nor 2NE1 members Dara, CL, Bom, and Minzy have reacted to Kiko Pangilinan’s statements.
