Kathryn Bernardo opened up about experiencing what she believes is a “quarter-life crisis” during the media conference for Pilipinas Got Talent on Wednesday, March 19.

During the conference, the actress was asked about the bravest thing she has done for herself. In response, she candidly admitted feeling uncertain about her path.

“I’m turning 29 in a few days. I’m at a point in my life where I feel lost, again,” she said.

Kathryn expressed she didn’t expect to feel this way, but accepted that it’s part of her growth.

“I don’t know kung nararamdaman ‘to talaga ‘pag nasa ganitong age ka na but it’s hitting me hard,” she noted.

She also added, “To be honest, I’m so scared, I’m so lost but I think it’s so brave na everyday I show up.”

Despite the uncertainties, Kathryn emphasized the importance of showing up and choosing growth. She also acknowledged the birthday blues and crisis that made her question life.

“Bigla ko lang siyang na-feel. I think siguro, birthday blues lang ‘to, may quarter life crisis na parang ‘What’s next for me?’” she remarked.

She then added, “It’s just brave na tinanggap ko ‘yun and I’m allowing myself to be vulnerable.”

In another part of the interview, Kathryn was asked about what being a woman of power means to her. Her response highlighted the importance of female solidarity and empowerment:

“I think a woman is so powerful every time she helps other women,” she stated.

The actress also highlighted the challenges women face in society.

“Sad lang na you’re pitting us against each other. Parang you’re giving us na ‘okay competition ‘to…’” she said.

“Instead of pitting us against each other, maybe we can just help each other and let’s just stop comparing women,” she added.
