YG Entertainment announces that K-Pop sensation 2NE1 will be reuniting for a world tour starting this October.
On Instagram, the agency posted a photo of the girls consisting of Sandara Park, Minzy, CL, and Park Bom with the caption, “Welcome Back, 2NE1.”
YG Entertainment also released a video on their YouTube channel where founder Yang Hyun Suk revealed the agency’s plan for the girl group.
“The members of 2NE1 informed me that they’d like to hold a concert commemorating their 15th anniversary,” Yang said in the subtitled video.

“So we caught up and happily discussed, making it all happen within this year,” he also added.
The tour will start in early October in Seoul. Followed by stops in Osaka and Tokyo in late November and December, proceeding through 2025.
“I think this concert will be special. It resonates with those who grew up with 2NE1’s music, sharing those memories. And in the case of 2NE1, they have an incredible number of hit songs, so all the staff are working hard together to create a successful show,” said Yang in the video.
Amid comeback rumors in late June, the members had a meeting with the agency. They also reunited for a photo shoot last May in celebration of their 15th anniversary.
The last time the 2NE1 members performed in concert was in 2022 for CL’s Coachella set, where they performed their hit “I Am The Best.” 2NE1 is also famous for their songs “Can’t Nobody,” “I Don’t Care,” and “Come Back Home.”

The group debuted in 2009 with their single, “Fire,” and the rest is history. Fans resonated with 2NE1 due to their edgy style and hip-hop music, which was distinguishable from the “cute” and “sexy” images other female idols were sporting at the time. 2NE1 disbanded in 2016 but had mini-reunions throughout the years.
