Filipino actor and artist Juan Miguel Severo is under fire on Twitter/X amid the growing cases of sexual allegations. Many have taken to the social media platform to share their side of the story and aim to boycott the actor.
One user has posted on Twitter/X regarding the ongoing Juan Miguel Severo allegations. Her posts include screenshots of her past interaction with the actor.

“In case anyone forgot, Juan Miguel Severo is a sexual opportunist. I was one of his victims,” the user stated in her post.
The user stated Juan Miguel Severo’s age was 28 at that time, and she was 16. She shared how she matched with the actor-writer on Tinder, and she immediately sent a message about being a fan. She messaged how regretful she was for not attending his live performance in Kalibo, Aklan.

The story turned as she added how Severo told her that they could meet up, insisting that he was “needy.”
“I initially wondered why he wanted to take me to his hotel room, but I trusted him,” she stated. “He’s just a harmless poet who also seems to be vocal against sexual harassment and violence, right?”
The post has garnered up to 3.1 million views and 25 thousand likes. It has also received 5.5 thousand shares with many also sharing their thoughts on the matter.

“Juan Miguel Severo harassed, raped, and took the opportunity of many people I know and love,” one user expressed his feelings regarding the matter. “This worse-than-animal scum uses his platform to take advantage—to rape, to abuse.”

This is not the first time that Juan Miguel Severo’s scandal become a trending topic. Back in 2021, actor Paolo Pangilinan hinted that the poet-writer sexually assaulted him when they were working on the web series “Gaya Sa Pelikula.” Paolo made a cryptic statement online about a “harasser” on his Twitter post.
Many who saw his posts believed he was pointing to Severo, and many Twitter users also began to share posts about Severo’s sexual harassment with them. Spoken word group Words Anonymous even cut ties with him in light of the scandal.
