When asked if he had any anger towards his mother, he said that he didn’t. While he had questions as a kid, he now understood that his mother was very young when she had him.
This resulted in his grandmother becoming his primary caregiver. JK also didn’t miss the opportunity to showcase his relationship with his grandmother and uncle.
Moreover, JK Labajo’s father was also mentioned. Many netizens know that he didn’t grow up with his father in his life and never really knew him. His dad left when his mom was pregnant, and he never contacted him until she passed.
Unfortunately, when he found his father’s information online, JK was immediately blocked. He clarified that he never wanted anything monetary or materialistic from him, JK just wanted the opportunity to get to know his dad.
Despite the unfortunate incident, Juan Karlos Labajo still maintains a positive perspective on life. Though he felt rejected as a kid, he now sees life better.
In the interview, he said, “I’m focusing my energy on the things that I have control (over). Instead of trying to look for that love that I never had from that one specific person.”

He shared this when Ogie asked how he felt about his friends with complete families. Juan Karlos responded, “Nakiki-parents din ako. Kaya lagi akong hinahanap ng mga magulang ng mga kaibigan ko eh. So, ‘dun ko siya nakuha.”
