Jolina Magdangal sat down in a conversation with Maricel Soriano on the latter’s YouTube channel. 

The two previously worked in the film Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo! as Ditas and Doris respectively.

In the interview, the topics touched upon various aspects of Jolina’s career, including her tandem with Marvin Agustin and the film they worked at that left an impression on her.

During the conversation, Magdangal clarified that she’s not on bad terms with Agustin.

“Hindi naman kami ni Marvin naging magka-away ng sobra,” she said.

She then added, “Kung meron man po kaming dati pinagtatampuhan, petty lang po.”

Jolina recounted how trivial the past squabbles are.

“Siguro kaya po ngayon, ganito kami kabilis magkatrabaho ulit,” she said.

She credited this understanding for their smooth collaboration in Ex Ex Lovers, which premiered on February 12, 2025.

When asked about her old work that left an impression on her in her career:

“Yung Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang?” Jolina answered.

“Kasi po… Nauuso na naman ‘yung mga friendzone, ‘yung mga nai-inlove sa bestfriend,” she reasoned.

She also elaborated that due to platforms like TikTok and YouTube, many young people are able to watch their past films online.

“May mga bata po ngayon na, pag nagpapapirma sa akin or hinahabol po ako sa mall,” she recalled.

She then jokingly added, “Sasabihan ko talaga ng “Naabutan mo ba ako?””

Jolina admitted to contemplating how young people know her and her works.

“Iniisip ko nga po, ‘Paano kaya nangyari ‘yun?’” she said.

She then explained it’s because of their mothers who were a fan of hers way back in the peak of her career.

Jolina Magdangal is a prominent figure in the Philippine entertainment industry, captivating audiences with her charm and talent since the 1990s. 

She is best known for her roles in films like Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang? and Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo! which have solidified her status as an icon.
