Actors Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano officially announced Sunday that they tied the knot earlier this year in an intimate ceremony witnessed only by family and selected friends.

On April 4, Jessy uploaded a video of their wedding ceremony on her YouTube account held in the luxurious The Farm at San Benito in Lipa, Batangas.

According to PEP.ph, the civil wedding ceremony, officiated by Lipa City Mayor Eric Africa, happened back in February.

“Hopefully, after watching the video, you’ll have huge smiles on your faces and only feel love because with everything that’s been happening in the world, that’s all we want, to share the love and spread some joy to everyone,” she wrote in the video description.

Due to the pandemic restrictions, only a handful of masked guests joined the ceremony, including Luis’ parents, Batangas 6th District Representative Vilma Santos and actor Edu Manzano. Meanwhile, Jessy’s mom witnessed the wedding via video call, based on the wedding video shot by Bob Nicolas.

The 28-year-old bride wore a simple white gown by Patricia Santos while Luis, 39, wore a pink suit by Paulo Lazaro.

The couple first confirmed they were dating in 2016 and announced their engagement in December 2020.
