Jasmin Bungay was proclaimed as 2nd runner-up in Miss Globe 2024 and was coronated at the Tirana Olympic Park in Albania.
Colombia’s Diana Moreno was named Miss Globe 2024 winner, with Thailand’s Prada Thansita Dilhokanansakul awarded as first runner-up. Following Jasmin, Germany’s Andromeda Schuster and Vietnam’s Ha Trang Do were named 3rd and 4th runner-ups, respectively.
In regards to the news, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) took to social media and congratulated Jasmin.

“Congratulations on bringing home The Miss Globe 2024 2nd Runner-up crown, Jasmin Bungay! You have continually inspired us with your hard work and dedication throughout your Miss Globe journey,””” their post stated.
Jasmin gave her all during the global pageant event. In the Q&A portion, she was asked how people keep real human connections and show empathy in the technological age.
“I believe that with the advancement of technology and the abuse that is prevalent now in the technological world, I believe to be emphatic is to live in the moment, to make sure that every moment is treasured not on the screen but in real life,” Jasmin replied.
She also added: “Because only when we have real connections, only when we connect, face-to-face, physically, then we can feel each other, and then we can experience to fullness of life.”

Another highlight is the unveiling of her national costume. The sacrifices of overseas Filipino workers in the Middle East inspired the outfit.
“Inspired by the nights when OFWs wonder and watch the night sky in the deserts of the Middle East, playing back moments and memories with their families; hoping for the fruition of their sacrifices, of their toiling,” Jasmin stated in her Instagram post.
Jasmin Bungay, as 2nd-runner up, reflects the achievements of her predecessor, Anna Lakrini. Anna has also been declared as the 2nd runner-up in Miss Globe 2023. Additionally, both recognitions put the Philippines on a 10-year placement streak in the overall pageant.
