Two singers released a Japanese cover of Ph BINI’s famous song “Salamin, Salamin,” which went viral. Duo Kena and Miyuki uploaded the cover, which comes with Japanese lyrics and the latter singing the song in Filipino and English.
Kena played the guitar and was credited with working on the cover’s arrangement and production. Yuna Reguerra played the bass, while Rojh Baquiran worked on the sound mixing.

“Mahou no kagami, itsu made mateba ii, honne wo kikeru made,” goes the chorus, almost a direct translation of BINI’s Salamin lyrics.
BINI’s “Salamin, Salamin” is one of the girl group’s most popular songs, which entered the Billboard Philippines Songs chart at number 10 in April 2024. The group even performed ‘Salamin Salamin’ as one of the feature songs in BINIverse: The First Solo Concert. Other popular BINI songs include “I Feel Good,” “Cherry On Top,” and “Karera.”

“Sorry, not sorry,” this user admitted to favoring the duo’s cover of “Salamin, Salamin” rather than the original.
Netizens also praise the song under Kena and Miyuki’s Facebook post. In fact, many of them have commented on how the cover sounds more appealing than the original.

Na and Miyuki went viral for their Japanese cover of “Migraine” by Moonstar88. They also covered Filipino songs, including “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na” and “Mapa.” They also made a cover for Silent Sanctuary, “Pesensya Ka Na.”
