Actress Janine Gutierrez was equally excited to reveal that she and her ‘Lavender Fields’ co-star, Jericho Rosales, are in a relationship.
On Tuesday, August 13, Jericho Rosales confirmed in a ‘Lavender Fields’ press junket that he and Gutierrez were dating.
In an interview on ABS-CBN’s YouTube channel, Janine Gutierrez was asked for her reaction to Jericho Rosales’ admission of their relationship. The actress burst into a hearty laugh when she heard the question.

“Sabi?! Sabi?! That’s sweet to hear, and I’m also super excited to be able to work with him,” Janine said. The interviewer then asked the actress about Rosales’s dating confirmation.
“It’s been fun, it’s been fun… getting to know and hanging out with him outside of work. Masaya na man,” the actress responded.
Janine Gutierrez also learned that Rosales mentioned meeting her family during the single launch for her brother Diego.

“Grabe, ano pa bang kinwento niya?!” Janine laughed. “Dapat after ng trailer, mayroon ding recap ng Jericho junket!” she added.
The actress echoed her mother, Lotlot de Leon, who also stars in Lavender Fields, who said it’s a good thing Jericho is a family-oriented man.
She shared that her mother and Jericho Rosales have previously worked together on some scenes on ‘Atoy,’ so they already knew each other.
“She only had nice things to say about him so, at least, okay lahat,” Janine said.
It’s reported that Janine Gutierrez and Jericho Rosales started getting close when the actor accompanied Gutierrez to visit her pet at the veterinary clinic. It also happens that it was Gutierrez’s brother’s song launch on the same night. Thus, Rosales got to briefly meet the actress’ family.
