Former ‘James Bond’ star George Lazenby was spotted in a frail appearance during an outing in Santa Monica on August 18. His appearance garnered a reaction among netizens.
Lazenby announced his retirement back on July 24. He did add that his career has “been a fun ride.” He has shared the announcement on his Twitter/X account. Many fans even wondered if George Lazenby is still alive. The latest photos, though assuring he is still active, his appearance made a lot of people worried about his condition.

“This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s time to announce my retirement from work,” Lazenby stated. “Therefore, I won’t be doing any more acting or making public appearances, doing any more interviews, or signing any more autographs as of today.”
Lazenby was seen walking with a stroller and a baseball cap in one of his recent outings, which the photos have been shared online. While he seems lively, he also openly admitted that aging has taken a toll on him. George Lazenby’s condition has not been revealed further. However, many sources stated he is healthy.
The action star was hospitalized after accidentally falling at his home. His manager shared a photo of George Lazenby sitting up in the bed, looking lively amid his recovery. Lazenby also expressed his gratitude to the professionals who looked after him.

George Samuel Lazenby was born on 5 September 1939 in Goulburn, New South Wales. As he grew up, he became a car salesman. At that time, a talent scout approached him and persuaded him to become a model. In 1966, he was named ‘Top Model of the Year’.
George Lazenby was featured in several movie roles, including “Universal Soldier,” “Who Saw Her Die?”, and “The Shrine of Ultimate Bliss.” He also played roles in “Man from Hong Kong,” and “The Kentucky Fried Movie.” His most notable role is as the second iteration of James Bond in the 1969 film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.”
The actor’s portrayal of the 007 agent was one of the most iconic castings at the time and left a lasting impression on fans. However, his tenure in the role is also known to be the shortest. His portrayal is often compared to that of Daniel Craig, who is also well-known for casting as James Bond and has had the longest career playing the agent.
