Actress Ivana Alawi bid farewell to her role in the action-drama series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. The actress posted a lengthy post and a humorous picture on social media.

Ivana Alawi’s character, Bubbles, was killed in yesterday’s episode. Her end took a bloody turn after David, played by McCoy De Leon, finished her. Dreamscape Entertainment posted a message of thanks to the actress on their Instagram page.

“Thank you very much, Ivana Alawi, for being part of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. Until next time, Bubbles!”

The actress also expressed her gratitude to ABS-CBN and Dreamscape for the opportunity to be part of the “Batang Quiapo” cast.

“Nung unang inalok sakin ang Batang Quiapo, isang malaking tanong ang pumasok sa isip ko. Bakit ako? Kaya ko ba ito? Deserve ko ba? Pero dala na ng aking tiwala sa ABS-CBN lalo na kay Tita Cory, Direk Coco, at sa panalangin ko din, tinanggap ko siya ng buong puso. At sobrang proud ako sa show na ito,” she said in her post.

Ivana’s farewell to Bubbles didn’t end there. Inquirer has posted a photo of Ivana reclining in a transparent coffin. The actress looks relaxed as she flashes a peace sign.

“LOOK: Ivana Alawi, who portrays Bubbles on “Batang Quiapo,” bids farewell as her character dies in the July 29 episode,” Inquirer stated in the post description. The post continues on about Alawi’s gratitude for the role.

“From the bottom of my heart maraming salamat sa inyong lahat, sa inyong walang sawang pagtanggap sa akin gabi-gabi, sa pagmamahal niyo kay Bubbles. Salamat po ng marami at sana patuloy niyo parin supportahan ang Batang Quiapo,” she said. “Hanggang sa muli, Bubbles signing off.”

According to the Inquirer, the episode garnered 600,000 online views, leaving many viewers devastated by Bubbles’ death.
