The It Ends With Us film promos cause fans to speculate a feud between actors behind the scenes. Viewers think this since the movie’s stars do not appear in promos together. In addition, they seem to be promoting entirely two different films.

The movie features Blake Lively, Brandon Sklenar, and Justin Baldoni, who also directs. Interestingly, while they haven’t done any promotional activities together, the stars don’t follow each other on social media. Justin follows a few of them, but none return the favor, including the book’s author, Colleen Hoover.

During the movie’s premiere, the director did not take photos with other cast or crew, even Colleen herself. He also did not appear to introduce the film with the rest of them. This added even more fuel to the fire, with fans concluding something was happening behind the scenes.

Before the movie’s release, Hoover and the cast are seen together. They’re doing group interviews, and even Ryan Reynolds makes an appearance. However, Baldoni is nowhere to be seen. The only interview he had with another production member was once with Hoover.

The It Ends With Us promo also faced backlash from viewers. In fact, it recently had a viral promo with Reynolds, which fans found off-putting. The promo with Lively’s husband was very comedic. Here, fans found this straying from the film’s story and breaking abuse patterns.

As a result, viewers have praised Justin Baldoni’s film promo. A fan comments, “THIS RIGHT HERE. Justin is the main one speaking about the severity and importance of this film.”

Various online users also criticized Lively’s movie promo, and fans find that she’s treating it like a romantic comedy.

Moreover, due to the backlash, Hoover made her TikTok private.

The book-to-movie adaptation follows Lily Blossom Bloom (Lively) and Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni), who meet on a rooftop and fall in love. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when Ryle shows signs of being abusive. 

Here, Lily also reconnects with her high school sweetheart, Atlas Corrigan (Sklenar). The book and movie focus on how Lily aims to break generational abuse and show her struggle with overcoming her own experiences.
