Many have asked, with the upcoming end of Ramadan, is April 9, 2024 a holiday in the Philippines? While this day is usually proclaimed as a holiday, the Philippine official gazette, however, has yet to declare April 10 a holiday in the Philippines. 

This holiday, as per Proclamation No. 368, s. 2024, The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos will advise the Office of the President on Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha dates based on Islamic or lunar calendars.

For Muslims worldwide, Eid ul Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting and prayer. It is one of the Islamic calendar’s largest and most significant celebrations.
