Kiray Celis, a prominent figure in the Philippine entertainment industry, made abuzz with the news of her earning an income of 8 million pesos in four months through live selling.
In a recent episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the actress shared her journey from being a celebrity to becoming a thriving entrepreneur.
Kiray’s career as a liveseller began with selling various products online, often without being selective about what she sold.
“Hindi tayo namimili ng products, lahat binebenta kahit sa pinakarandom na bagay,” she recalled.
Celis credited her boyfriend, Stephan Estopia, for suggesting she sell her own products instead.
“Kung sila nabebentahan mo at napapayaman mo, bakit hindi mo gawin sa sarili mo?” she reiterated. This advice marked a turning point to focus on developing her own brand.
Kiray also acknowledged her celebrity background as an instrument for her current success.
“Mas madali for me, Tito Boy,” she said.
She then added, “Kasi siyempre pag nakita nila na ikaw yung nagbebenta, papanoorin nila. Kahit hindi naman nila kailangan bibilhin nila kasi ikaw yung nagbebenta.”
However, she also emphasized the importance of selling products that genuinely benefit her customers, saying:
“Kailangan mo sila bentahan na makakatulong at kailangan nila, hindi bumili sila dahil ikaw yung nagbenta.”
The financial rewards of live selling have been substantial for Kiray, which allowed her to achieve significant milestones.
She shared, “Nakabili po ako agad ng sasakyan nung naglive selling po ako. Yun po yung una kong napundar.”
