The hit romantic comedy “Anyone But You” is now streaming on Netflix! The film, which was a major trend upon its release last year, became available on the platform just a few days ago.
Interestingly, Natasha Bedingfield’s song “Unwritten” has made a comeback on the music charts after nearly two decades, thanks to its feature in the movie. Fans have been using the iconic chorus, “Feel the rain on your skin,” in many social media posts.
Will Gluck directed the movie, which stars Sydney Sweeney, Glen Powell, Darren Barnet, and other Hollywood talents. It follows the beloved fake dating trope, where the protagonists inevitably fall in love. Romcom enthusiasts say it brings back the charm of early 2000s romantic comedies.

Sony Pictures’ synopsis for the film states: “In the edgy comedy Anyone But You, Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date, something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold – until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.”
Audience reviews on Rotten Tomatoes reveal that “‘Anyone But You’ should hit the sweet spot for rom-com fans, even if this one gets a little raunchier than some might expect.”
Another review from cinema-goers states, “This was enjoyable. Breezy watch, charming, good cast. It got one really big laugh out of me. Glen Powell is perfect for these, like in Set It Up…”

Moreover, rom-com enthusiasts see the actor as the next leading man in this genre. His previous works include “Easy A” and the Netflix film “Set It Up.” He also appeared in the series “Scream Queens” as Chad Radwell.
