The romance Hello, Love, Again movie has achieved a historic milestone, ranking eighth for the best opening weekend among Filipino films in North America. 

The movie grossed an impressive $2.4 million through Abramorama, setting a new record for Philippine cinema in the region.

This success propels Hello, Love, Again into the Top 10 list of Filipino films in the U.S.. With this, it marks as the first of its kind to achieve this rank. 

Domestically, the film soared to P85 million on its opening day. It further climbed to P155 million on its second day, and surpassing P245 million in just three days. 



Its predecessor, Hello, Love, Goodbye, grossed $1.99 million throughout its entire North American run, a figure the sequel exceeded in just one weekend.

The film reunites Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, reprising their roles as Joy and Ethan. It is about reconnecting each other in Canada five years after their initial story in Hong Kong. 

The story explores themes of love and personal growth that resonate deeply with audiences. The film is directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana and written by Carmi Raymundo and Crystal S. San Miguel.



To date, Hello, Love Again grossed a remarkable per-screen average of $9,722 across 248 locations. In fact, it is the widest release ever for a Filipino film in North America. 

The marketing campaign, spearheaded by AJMC, targeted Filipino-American and broader multicultural audiences, bolstered by partnerships with ABS-CBN’s platforms.

Evan Saxon, head of international distribution at Abramorama, celebrated the movie’s performance. He said that Hello, Love, Again has successfully made history as becoming the highest-grossing film from the Philippines in North America.



As Hello, Love, Again continues its upward trajectory, it not only surpasses Hello, Love, Goodbye gross records but also solidifies its place as a cultural phenomenon.
