MANILA, PHILIPPINES – When it comes to renewing wedding vows with husband Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero, Heart Evangelista is “very, very excited.”
She stated that the ceremony will take place on Valentine’s Day, coinciding with her forthcoming 39th birthday celebration.
Heart spoke to the media yesterday night during her debut as a new Ultherapy endorsement, discussing the “big” event in her and Chiz’s lives.
The ceremony is scheduled for February 14 and will be a grand celebration of Heart’s birthday and her wedding anniversary to Chiz, according to a report on “Unang Balita” on Tuesday.
The couple’s 2015 wedding took place on Balesin Island, where it will take place. There will only be close friends and family invited, making it a private occasion.
“This time around, my heart is definitely complete,” Heart said. “I was 30 when I got married, but it’s different now.”
“I know what marriage is now, so it’s very meaningful for me,” she added.
The couple’s friends and relatives would be present at the “small but very special gathering.”
“It will hold great significance for me, as I had assumed I understood the definition of love.” But I now understand what true love is. Heart laughed, “I feel like I’m getting married for the first time again because of this.”
Heart had earlier hinted at the vow renewal with an Instagram picture of a bouquet.
“10 more days to go,” along with the hashtags #ChizHeart and #Chapter2, was written in her caption.
Chiz traveled to Paris with Heart last month and stayed in her stylish apartment there.
The pair rang in the new year with their family after celebrating Christmas together in Japan last year.
On February 15, Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary. In 2015, the couple exchanged vows at Balesin Island Club.
Heart claimed to have learned many lessons during their years of ups and downs, one of which being that “love is unconditional.”
