MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The PCSO Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot has reached P320 million and is yet to be won.
On Sunday, PCSO announced that the jackpot may reach up to P335 million for today’s draw at 9:00 pm.
During the previous draw on July 2, no bettors were able to hit the six-number combination 13 – 31 – 41 – 35 – 09 – 25.
However, 66 bettors came close to hitting the jackpot after picking five digits of the winning combination. Each winning bettor will receive a P100,000 consolation prize.
The last Grand Lotto draw with one bettor from La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, hitting the jackpot was last March. The grand prize then was worth P98.5 million.
There’s also no winner yet for the Ultra Lotto 6/58 with a P66.7 million jackpot prize.
Under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, lotto winners will be charged with 20% tax by the government. This includes consolation prices as long as they are P20,000 or above.
