Streaming platform Netflix has released the latest teaser of the highly anticipated series ‘Squid Game 2’ with Gong Yoo returning as the ‘recruiter.’
The teaser starts light and surprisingly wholesome, with various clips showing a ticking clock and a vintage record player. The scene then jumps to a man opening the curtains to reveal a view of buildings and nearby mountains.

The scene changes to the man undergoing a seemingly regular morning routine, like sipping coffee and selecting what suit to wear. However, the trailer takes a dramatic turn as the man revealed to be the ‘recruiter’ prepares his briefcase and heads into the subway.
The teaser ends with the recruiter looking at the camera and asking: “Would you like to play a game with me?”
The way the ‘recruiter’ initiated the game at the end is precisely how he recruits others into joining the life-or-death contest.
Besides the official reveal of Gong Yoo, the returning cast for Squid Game Season 2 includes fan favorites Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, and Wi Ha-jun. The new faces joining the series are Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, and Park Gyu-young.
