The good news came later Sunday evening when GCash updated its advisory, stating, “BancNet has advised that their global issue affecting QRPH and Instapay transactions today, March 9, has been fixed.”
This announcement signaled the restoration of normal services, allowing users to once again seamlessly transfer funds.
During the disruption, many users reported that the gcash bank transfer was unavailable which caused some panic, but the company assured its users that all funds were safe and secure.
GCash further addressed those who experienced issues during the downtime.
Assuring them that “If you encountered an issue during this time, rest assured your funds are safe and will be credited to your GCash wallet within 24 to 48 hours.”
With the BancNet issue resolved, users can now resume their gcash bank transfer down worries no more.
The disruption was due to a technical problem with BancNet, which affected multiple banks and financial platforms, including GCash. This caused delays in InstaPay transactions, making GCash bank transfer unavailable for a short period.
