MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Oil companies have created another set of adjustments to fuel prices, effective this January 23, 2024.
The Department of Energy (DOE) reported in their Oil Monitor updates that oil companies in the Philippines would implement a price hike by P1.30 for gasoline. Meanwhile, diesel price will also increase by P0.95/liter and no movement for kerosene.
Oil firm also provided their own advisories regarding their fuel price hikes.
Effective 04:01 am, CleanFuel announced price hike by P0.95 per liter for diesel and P1.30 gasoline.
Effective 6:00 am, PetroGazz will implement a price hike for diesel P0.95 and gasoline by P1.30 per liter.
Effective 6:00 am, SeaOil will implement price hike for gasoline P1.30 per liter, diesel by P0.95 per liter, and no movement for kerosene .

Other fuel companies have yet to release new fuel price changes. However, the estimates for this week are the following:
- Diesel by P0.60-P0.95 per liter
- Gasoline by P0.90-P1.30 per liter
- Kerosene by P0.00-P0.20 per liter
According to DOE, the year-to-adjustments of fuel prices stand at a net increase of P0/liter for gasoline, P0.25/liter for diesel and P1.30/liter for kerosene. – WhatALife!
