MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Oil companies have created another set of adjustments to fuel prices, effective this May 31, 2022.
The Department of Energy (DOE) reported in their Oil Monitor updates that oil companies in the Philippines would implement a price decrease of P1.70/liter for gasoline. Meanwhile, diesel and kerosene prices will increase by P1.20 and P2.45/liter, respectively.
Oil firm also provided their own advisories regarding their fuel price hikes.
Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Shell gasoline prices would have a rollback by PHP1.70 per liter, while diesel prices would have a price hike by PHP1.20 per liter. Last week, diesel prices were adjusted for a rollback and gasoline prices increased.
When it comes to kerosene prices, Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell would increase by P2.45 per liter. Last week, kerosene prices were subject to a rollback.
According to DOE, the year-to-adjustments of fuel prices stand at a net increase of P23.85/liter for gasoline, P30.30/liter for diesel and P27.65/liter for kerosene. – WhatALife!
