In its initial release, fans thought that this was a sweet Franseth moment off-cam. However, it was later clarified as a behind-the-scenes look into their new project, “My Future You,” their first movie together.
News broke of their first big-screen project together in April of this year, and loyal fans are eager to see their idols in cinemas soon. Crisanto B. Aquino directs the movie for Regal Films.
The movie is about a young couple who meet on a dating app. The twist is that they live in different timelines. The film then expounds on how they navigate this challenge.
The movie was announced on Star Magic Philippines’ official Instagram page, which featured a carousel showing the pair in a script reading session. However, further announcements are still to be shared.
Since they began shooting, many staff members have posted behind-the-scenes moments of the pair, and their “suboan” moments appear to be a trend. Another X (formerly Twitter) user shared an Instagram story from FranSeth’s “My Future You” team.

However, after announcing their upcoming movie, netizens began speculating that they were becoming the next KathNiel. The older love team comprised Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, who broke up after eleven years together last year.
Despite the former love team’s success, FranSeth wants to be labeled as something other than the next version of the now broken-up couple. While they shared that they admire their other Kapamilya actors, they have stressed making a name for themselves.
Seth himself shared in a statement that, “Di namin mapapalitan ang KathNiel. Gusto namin marating ang narating nila pero para ‘di palitan. Ini-idilo po namin sila sa kung ano na nakamit nila. Yun ang pangarap namin. Kung saan sila nakapunta, sana makapunta rin kami sa sarili naming paraan.”
Francine Diaz agreed with her onscreen partner and shared that they are on a different path than Kathryn and Daniel.
