Huw Edwards was the leading BBC presenter on key events, including the death and funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. However, he was suspended in July 2023 when his first allegations emerged. He was also arrested on November 8 this year. Huw Edwards’ case has been ongoing and resurfaced around July 30.
He is accused of having 6 category A images, the most serious classification in English law. The case includes 12 Category B pictures and 19 Category C photographs on his WhatsApp chat. The case is currently ongoing, but he could be facing up to 10 years if found guilty.
