Former actor John Wayne Sace was arrested on Tuesday, October 29, in Pasig City, for reportedly shooting his friend, Lynell Eugenio.
According to Police Chief Colonel Hendrix Mangaldan, Sace was caught by the police at 6:15 AM in a hotel in Barangay Oranbo.
Based on the reports, Lynell Eugenio was on his way home when John Wayne Sace followed him. The former actor then fired at Eugenio four times with a 0.45 caliber pistol.
The incident occurred on Monday evening, October 28, in Barangay Sagad, Pasig City.

Hours after the shooting, Sace took shelter at the hotel, where police captured him and took him into custody at the Pasig City Police Headquarters.
After his arrest, John Wayne Sace underwent a paraffin test at the Eastern Police District. The police also recovered the weapon that the actor allegedly used to shoot his friend. The results of the paraffin test determined the presence of gunpowder residue in his hands.
According to the Pasig police, there have already been past conflicts between Sace and Eugenio, but they haven’t released any further details.

In 2016, John Wayne Sace was involved in a different shooting incident, where two unidentified men approached him and his companion, Erik Sabino, and shot them. Sace and Sabino were taken to the hospital, but only Sace survived.
Before the shootings, John Wayne Sace was an actor who was famous for his roles in movies and shows like ‘Pintakasi’ (2011), ‘Don’t Give Up On Us’ (2006), and ‘Ang Probinsyano’ (2015).
