In a devastating act of gun violence, Filipino siblings Christine Asa-Ca and Janvi Maquindang were tragically killed in their California home.
Christine’s fiancé, Edwin Garcia, also lost his life during the incident. Adding to the tragedy, Janvi’s partner, Matthew Montebello, is currently in a vegetative state due to injuries sustained in the shooting.
Two minors present in the home at the time were unharmed physically but remained deeply affected by the traumatic event. In their home, their three dogs were also shot to death.
