MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Aurora Festival will present numerous renowned local bands to perform in Cebu this September 16.

Cebu’s Aurora Festival will feature a lineup of Original Pilipino Music(OPM) artists and legends. Ely Buendia, Eraserheads’ frontman, just came back after his US tour, Bamboo, on other hand, who’s known for a lot of hits in the local music scene, and Silent Sanctuary to serenade the Cebuanos with their all-time favorites.

Furthermore, Up Dharma Down’s Armi Millare will also perform on stage as a solo artist. It will be Millare’s first ever festival concert as a solo artist after she left the band in December 2021 to pursue a solo career.

The Cebu Aurora Festival will also feature famous Visayan bands Phylum and Missing Filemon who are known for their hit songs that made a significant impact, especially in Visayas and Mindanao.

The concert’s goal is also to pay homage to Filipino local bands and artists who have shaped the local music scene. These artists are known for their artistry in music that has helped raise the Filipino music industry, not just locally, but internationally.

The Cebu Aurora Festival has been recognized as one of the biggest OPM festivals in the country. The festival gives opportunities to various artists and music enthusiasts from all walks of life who want to share their talent on stage. It has been an event that brought an immense amount of happiness to avid OPM fans nationwide.

In addition, the festival is proudly committed to promoting OPM and providing a platform for various artists who excel to greater heights in the music scene.

The festival will take place at Open Lot at Former Marreco, Brgy. Poblacion, Mandaue, Cebu.
