Toni Gonzaga’s recent sit-down interview with Carlos Yulo’ girlfriend, Chloe San Jose showed a different side to the issues surrounding them about their relationship and life.

Chloe shares that her childhood was marked by significant challenges, including growing up without a stable mother figure. 

After her parents separated when she was just a toddler, she was raised by her grandmother in the Philippines.  At the age of eleven, she moved to Australia to live with her mother, who had started a new family. 

This transition was difficult for Chloe as she struggled to connect with her mother, whom she barely knew.

During her teenage years in Australia, Chloe faced domestic violence both personally and as a witness. The environment led her to seek refuge in school activities, where she could escape the turmoil at home.

 At 18, after a heated argument with her family, Chloe made the brave decision to move out and start anew. 

With the support of her best friend’s family, she not only finished high school but also took on the responsibility of bringing her younger sister into a safer environment.

Chloe’s relationship with Carlos “Caloy” Yulo, also plays a significant role in her narrative, considering the amount of backlash the two have been receiving the past weeks

She emphasized that her connection with him blossomed through mutual support during challenging times. 

Despite facing public scrutiny and misconceptions about their relationship, Chloe stands firm in defending both herself and Caloy against negativite.

In the interview, Chloe expressed the importance of fighting for yourself, emphasizing that even family or the ones you love won’t be there for you.
