Catherine Middleton, Princess of Wales, announced on Monday, September 9, that she had finished her chemotherapy treatment and was finally cancer-free. She shared the news in an emotional video message posted on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
In the post, Catherine expressed her relief about completing her chemotherapy treatment.
“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” said Catherine.
“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. “Life can change in an instant, and we have had to navigate stormy waters and an unknown path,” she added, referring to her family: husband Prince William and their children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.

Princess Catherine also states that although she’s cancer-free, she still has a long path to recovery.
“Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” she said.
Catherine Middleton has reportedly started working from home on some projects and is excited to take on a few engagements for the rest of the year.

“I am looking forward to returning to work and taking on more public engagements in the coming months,” she continued.
