Toyota Motor Philippines has recently released news that it will give two-time gold medalist Carlos Yulo a Land Cruiser Prado as a gift. They made the surprising announcement recently, on August 15.
“Your Toyota Motor Philippines family is honored to give you, Carlos Edriel P. Yulo, your very own Toyota Land Cruiser Prado,” The manufacturers stated in their Facebook post. “We hope this vehicle helps bring you to greater heights. We are excited to see where your journeys can further take you.”

The Land Cruiser Prado is no simple ride. This big ride comes with a 4-Cylinder, In-Line, 16-valve DOHC, Chain Drive, and Turbo Engine. Additional features include an Engine Displacement of 2393cc with a Maximum Output (ps/rpm) 281 / 6000. Maximum Torque, meanwhile, is at (Nm/Rpm)430 / 1700-3600. The cruiser can also hold up to seven passengers.
The Olympic performer has received multiple gifts alongside the two gold medals he won at the. However, a Land Cruiser Prado 2024 stands out as it is the first gift of Carlo Yuto which is a vehicle.

The gift is also surprising for its price tag. According to Toyota’s official website, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 price ranges around PHP 87,252 / month (a total of PHP 3,840,000). The price can also vary depending on your nearest dealer.
The Land Cruiser Prado is one of Yulo’s latest gifts that are officially confirmed. Other gifts include a PHP 20 million cash reward from President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, a PHP 32 million condo unit from Megaworld Corp, and 150,000 Mabuhay Miles for life from Philippine Airlines.
