Carlos Yulo celebrated his double victory at the 2024 Paris Olympics with his girlfriend, Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose. This weekend, Yulo made history by bagging two gold medals, placing first at the men’s artistic gymnastics floor exercise and vault finals.
After Yulo flawlessly executed his performance at the vault finals, he pumped his fists, saluted the audience, and touched his heart as a gesture of thanks. Standing a few feet from the center mat is his girlfriend, Chloe, who screamed “Mahaaaaaal!” along with the roaring crowd.

Later that night, Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose, shared a video on Instagram and TikTok of herself and Yulo, doing the trending audio, “Uy, Philippines.” In the short clip, Yulo is seen wearing the national team jacket and proudly displaying his gold medal. Accompanying the adorable video was the caption: “we did it all in god’s name.”
In a previous interview with PEP.ph, the couple revealed that they dated virtually for two years before finally meeting in person at the 31st Vietnam Southeast Asian Games.

According to One Sports, Chloe was a starstruck fangirl of Yulo before they met. Their relationship started when Chloe slid into Carlos’ direct message on X (formerly Twitter).
Chloe shared their first conversation on a TikTok video back in 2022.
“Hi, I’m a fan po. Just came across your account and hindi na po kayo as active as before. I hope you’re doing well po. Stay safe. God bless,” the then 18-year-old Chloe said in a message to Carlos last April 20, 2020.
“Hello, hehe. Anyway, I’m doing great here. Thank you. Ikaw din diyan ingat and God bless,” the then 20-year-old Yulo replied.
“Awwe I didn’t expect you’d reply and even follow me back. Thank you so much. Have a great week ahead,” she responded.
