Cagayan de Oro City reported a total of 345 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, August 23.

BREAKDOWN: On August 21, the city logged 164 new confirmed cases, of which 94 are local index cases, 36 local cases with link, 26 local APOR cases, three APOR cases with link, and five deaths. Meanwhile, on August 22, the city has recorded 181 new cases, of which 99 are local index cases, 47 local cases with link, 19 local APOR cases, 47 APOR cases with link, and five deaths.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 16,007 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 3,031 are active cases, 830 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and 2,201 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF).

The city also announced a total of 115 new recoveries and ten new deaths (five previously reported), bringing the total recovery and death cases to 12,292 and 685 respectively.
