Cagayan de Oro City reported a total of 53 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, July 9.

The city logged 53 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, 25 of which are local index cases, 19 local cases with links, five local APOR cases, two local APOR cases with links, and two persons deprived of liberty (PDL).

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 10,549 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 1,014 are active cases, 328 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and 686 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF).

The city also announced a total of 21 new recoveries and two previously recorded deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 9,039 and 496, respectively.
