Cagayan de Oro City reported ten new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday, February 4.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city recorded a total of ten new cases yesterday evening, three of which are local cases with link, one local APOR, five local index cases, and one death.

With this, the total cumulative cases in the city now rise to 3,362.

Out of the cumulative total, 234 are active cases, 56 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 175 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and three case under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 13 new recoveries and two new deaths, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,955 and 173, respectively.

Of the cumulative total, 421 are under the LSI/ROF category, with three active cases, one death (ROF), and 417 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,941 with 175 active cases, 172 deaths, and 2,538 recoveries.
