Cagayan de Oro City reported 18 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, January 15.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged a total of 34 new cases as of 10 PM yesterday, two of which locally stranded individuals (LSI) , ten local cases with link, one local APOR, and five local index cases.
With this, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the city are at 3,069.
Out of the cumulative total, 342 are active cases, 99 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 230 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 13 cases under the ROF/LSI category.
Dr. Nery also announced 33 new recoveries and no new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,572 and 155, respectively.
Of the cumulative total, 416 are under the LSI/ROF category, with 13 active cases, one death (ROF), and 402 recovered.
Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,653 with 230 active cases, 154 deaths, and 2,170 recoveries.
