Cagayan de Oro City reported 11 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Tuesday, January 12.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged a total of 11 new cases as of 10 PM yesterday, two of which are local APORs, seven local index cases, and two deaths.

With this, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the city are at 3,001.

Out of the cumulative total, 336 are active cases, 99 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 225 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 12 cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced two new recoveries and two new deaths, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,511 and 154, respectively.

Of the cumulative total, 412 are under the LSI/ROF category, with 12 active cases, one death (ROF), and 399 recovered.

Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,589 with 225 active cases, 153 deaths, and 2,12 recoveries.
