Cagayan de Oro City reported 28 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Wednesday, January 6.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged a total of 28 new cases as of 10 PM yesterday, one of which is a locally stranded individual, 16 local cases with links, one local APOR, and ten local index cases.
With this, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the city are at 2,908
Out of the cumulative total, 278 are active cases, 89 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 183 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and six cases under the ROF/LSI category.
Dr. Nery also announced three new recoveries and no new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,484 and 146, respectively.
Of the cumulative total, 404 are under the LSI/ROF category, with five active cases, one death (ROF), and 397 recovered.
Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,504 with 183 active cases, 145 deaths, and 2,087 recoveries.
