BTS member Suga has issued an apology after authorities charged him with a DUI incident on Wednesday, August 7th. Reports confirmed that Suga drove an electric kickboard scooter while drunk.
“I am very heavy-hearted and apologetic to bring you disappointing news,” The BTS member said in his statement. “I apologize to everyone hurt by my careless and wrong actions, and I will be more careful in my actions in the future to prevent such incidents from occurring again.”

Suga of BTS was drunk during a dinner he had attended hours prior. He explained further how he rode an electric kickboard scooter, further adding that he believed that his home was just a short distance away.
The nearby police recognized him and performed a breathalyzer test. Authorities canceled his license upon seeing the results, and he paid the necessary fines.
While BTS member Suga’s drunk driving incident didn’t result in any injuries, the news has nevertheless left an impact on all the associated parties.
Suga’s agency, BigHit Music, released a statement stating that he will receive the “appropriate disciplinary action” as a public servant.

“We apologize regarding BTS member Suga’s electric scooter accident… BigHit Music stated, ‘The incident did not cause any injuries or property damage, and the police took him home under custody.’
In addition to the BTS Suga news, the agency also said it would take “greater care” to prevent similar incidents from occurring again.
So what happened to BTS Suga? Reports confirmed he is currently undergoing his mandatory military service as a public service worker.
