BLACKPINK member Rosé has announced the release of her first full-length album, “Rosie,” which will be released on December 6 in time for the holidays.
The K-pop singer posted the album’s official art on her Instagram account with the following captions:
“Where to begin. I cannot believe I am finally announcing my first album release to you all.”

In her caption, Rosé shared memories of her time with BLACKPINK and the challenges she has faced. She admitted that she encountered many sleepless nights and felt lost. But with the support of her close associates, family, and fans, she was able to adapt and thrive.
“I am sitting here today excited to announce the date of my album release,” she stated.
She also hinted that her solo album reflects her journey, with the label name based on the nickname she was given behind the scenes.
“I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine. Rosie – is the name I allow my friends and family to call me. With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me. And yes, it’s a full-length album. Dec 6th,” she wrote.
Rosé’s BLACKPINK bandmate, Jisoo, responded to her announcement post with a rose emoji, congratulating the singer.

According to the press, Rosé solo album will feature 12 tracks. However, she has yet to reveal the tracklist.
Many fans know Rosé best as the main vocalist and lead dancer of BLACKPINK in August 2016. Aside from her time with the popular K-pop band, she has also released the solo singles “On the Ground” and “Gone” from her 2021 single album “R.”
Currently, she is signed with ‘The Black Label’ under YG Entertainment and American label Atlantic Records for her solo deal.
