Blackpink member Jennie Kim will join the ensemble cast of the popular online series My Name is Gabriel. Disney+ Philippines announced her role via its Twitter/X page.

According to a report by Korea Times, Jenni Kim will play the owner of a farmhouse bed and breakfast in a village near Rome, Italy. Jennie’s appearance in the series is set for around September 27 and October 4 (episodes 13 and 14, respectively).

“My Name is Gabriel” is a reality show where the featured cast will live the ‘real life’ of a particular individual under a new name in different parts of the world. “My Name is Gabriel” cast includes Ji Chang-wook, Park Bo-gum and Yeom Hye-ran. The series also featured comedians Park Myung-soo and Hong Jin-kyung.
Some standout moments include Bo-gum’s heartwarming interactions with the Irish choir, Myung-soo’s hilarious attempts to sell Thai papaya salad, and Ji Chang-wook navigating the vibrant streets of Guadalajara, Mexico.

The show takes viewers on a journey to cities. From the featured celebrities’ role to the exposure to unique culture, “My Name is Gabriel” became an instant hit.
The role of Jennie in “My Name is Gabriel” is part of her expanding portfolio in her acting career, as she has also appeared in shows, including “Apartment404” and “Village Survival.” Jennie Kim will also be reunited with her former groupmates in the Blackpink comeback and world tour, which is set in 2025.
