Korean pop group Blackpink is treating fans by dropping surprises with the online streaming platform Spotify in time for its 8th anniversary.
From August 1 until Blackpink’s debut anniversary on August 8, the ‘This is Blackpink’ playlist will create a collection of songs that will pay homage to the group’s different eras. Thus, it will take listeners through the K-Pop icon’s most memorable milestones.

In addition to the playlist, fans can flex their fandom in eight different ways by sharing daily digital share cards that are available on the playlist. So, if you want to get a share card, tune into the ‘This is Blackpink‘ playlist from August 1-8. It will refresh daily at 11 AM.
Depending on your streaming habits, you might get a special digital share card. You can then flex your fandom by posting the share card on social media with the hashtag #8YearswithBLACKPINK.

On July 21, YG Entertainment confirmed Blackpink’s world tour for 2025 in a YouTube video. This will mark their comeback since 2023. The same video revealed that YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk announced 2NE1’s reunion for a world tour this December.
