The Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, sits down with 102.7KIISFM for an interview about their stay in America. During their time in the West, the girl group had a KCON LA appearance and several concerts in Canada.
In the interview, BINI talked about their success and how they’re slowly achieving their dreams. However, this success also comes with a price: the girls now have to go out in the Philippines disguised.

Additionally, they talked about their successful BINI KCON LA 2024 performance. The group performed their first international single, “Cherry on Top.” The girls also mentioned their encounters with their K-pop idols.
Sheena shared how excited she and Colet were to meet ENHYPEN. The youngest member shared how she and Colet were ENGENES, which is the name of the fandom of ENHYPEN. Moreover, they talked about their meeting with KATSEYE.
After their performance in LA, both groups collaborated on their latest songs. They posted about the dance challenges they did on their respective accounts. Furthermore, they also met with KATSEYE member Sophia Laforteza, who is Filipina. Both groups danced to “Touch” and “Cherry on Top.”
The interviewer also asked them about their talents outside of performing. Mikha shared that she’s really good at video games. Jhoanna also shared her broadcasting skills with KIISFM’s audience.

On the topic of their international success, Colet said. “It’s super cool, super exciting. We were very shocked when it was announced, that we’re going to perform there. And never in our wildest dreams that we’re going to perform at KCON. (That) someone would choose BINI to perform at the pre-show.”
“And being able to perform. And we are the first Filipino group to perform there. So, it was wild, and it’s both an opportunity and a responsibility. And we’re able to showcase what we have in the Philippines. We are able to introduce ourselves as BINI and we’re able to raise our flag.”
“We want to share the talent, the music, the culture of the Philippines. And also we want to people to know that we have P-pop. You know, we have OPM there,” Colet concluded.
When talking about their international single and how groundbreaking it is, Jhoanna said: “Maybe because we set a new standard for this song, and for us also.”
Maloi said her favorite part about shooting the music video was the outdoor location. The group’s main singer said it was magical, and she even described it as “like a Barbie house.”
Aside from their LA appearance, BINI also appeared in a Billboard Korea event with SB19. During this event, both groups received recognition for their music.
