Filipino musician and actor Billy Crawford is mourning after the death of his father, Jack Crawford. He shared a tribute post on his Instagram page yesterday, September 22, to apologize for his absence on his father’s side.

“I’m sorry, Dad. I wasn’t there to say goodbye, give you a last hug, or tell you how much I love you,” Crawford said in his post.
“You’ll always be in my heart. Thank you for being the greatest dad I could ever have. May you finally rest and forever be happy in the arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ. I’ll truly miss you, my main man!”
Celebrities and content creators alike have offered messages of comfort under the post’s comment section. These stars include Sam Concepcion, Inka Magnaye, Ogie Alcasid, Geneva Cruz, Ryan Bang, and Piolo Pascual, to name a few.
Billy Crawford celebrated his 40th birthday with his parents, his wife Coleen Garcia, and his son in May 2022. He shared that Jack had always wanted to meet his grandson, Amari Crawford.

“Growing up kasi close family talaga kami. To see my dad, ang pangarap niya kapag kausap ko sila, ang sinasabi niya, ‘Son, I’m just holding on para makilala ko lang ‘yung anak niyo.’
Matanda na ang daddy ko and maraming complications. Pero marami akong matutunan at marami akong maituturo sa aming anak [ni Coleen] dahil sa ama ko. And I owe a lot to my dad,” Crawford said at the time.
Jack Crawford’s official cause of death has not been revealed.
