MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Singer and actress Angeline Quinto gave birth and introduced her newborn son, Sylvio, on Thursday afternoon with her non-showbiz boyfriend.

In her latest Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself capturing her in bed while holding her baby. She wrote in her post caption, “Motherhood. UNLOCKED.”

Singers and public figures Morissette Amon, Maricris Garcia-Cruz, Geneva Cruz, Angel Locsin, Luiz Manzano, and Crisha Uy express their congratulatory messages through the post’s comment section.

According to Angeline, Sylvio was born on Wednesday, April 27, at 10:22 p.m. Her baby’s full name is Aziel Sylvio Quinto-Daquina, which weighs 6 lbs. and measures 9 inches long after birth.

Sylvio’s name came after the singer’s late adoptive mother, who passed away last November 2020, which she calls “Mama Bob,” with the actual given name of Sylvia Quinto.

Angeline’s partner has mostly kept a low profile, with the actress explaining that both she and her partner prefer to keep their relationship private.

She also earlier announced that they are holding their plans for marriage to prioritize their son.

Rumors about her pregnancy had been circulating since November 2021. In December of the same year, she announced her confirmation of her rumored pregnancy.

During her interview with Boy Abunda, Angeline, 32, acknowledged her partner is several years younger than her and has children from his previous relationship.

She also had her revelation on the episode of comedian-host Vice Ganda’s Youtube vlog that she and her boyfriend decided to move in together once they found out about her pregnancy last year.

The singer is well-known as “Angge” to her showbiz friends and rose to fame after joining the singing competition, Star Power. She also marked her 10th anniversary in showbiz last year through the show 10Q from October to February. – WhatALife!
