Actress Angel Locsin apologized over her community pantry, which turned into a nightmare after people swarmed the area on Friday, April 23.
In her Instagram account, Angel said that they were well-prepared for the event, however, people started cutting lines, resulting in disorganization and making social distancing impossible.
She added they contacted the city hall, police, military, and barangay for assistance, but the crowd was already difficult to control.

The actress-philanthropist apologized for what happened, saying she just wanted to celebrate her birthday by giving back to people.
Reports said that a senior citizen was rushed to the hospital after collapsing while lining up at Locsin’s community pantry. He was later declared dead on arrival.
