Non-government organization Angat Buhay has taken action to aid those affected by Typhoon Kristine.

Led by former Vice President Leni Robredo, the organization has shared multiple stories of its successful efforts through social media. In its Facebook post, the organization revealed that it was able to aid more than 8,000 families and individuals during the tropical storm.

Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership, at nasa ₱ 2,017,305.46 ang halaga ng in-kind donations ang ating natanggap,” it added.

Angat Buhay shared a different post of volunteers physically present in the scene and carrying out their responsibilities.

The post also thanks the partners who made the efforts possible.

Angat Buhay’s program for Kristine victims began on Wednesday, October 23. The organization announced that it is open for cash and supply donations and encouraged the public to participate.

At the time, Robredo requested donors to prioritize easy-to-eat food items for quick and convenient distribution. They collaborated with other organizations to ensure the program’s success.
