At her final concert in Munich, Germany, British vocalist Adele announced that she would be taking a break from music after her remaining ten shows in Las Vegas.
A fan captured the announcement and posted it on TikTok. In the clip, Adele thanks everyone for coming to her show and tells the audience that she has “ten shows to do,” referring to her concert in Las Vegas.
“But after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time,” Adele said with fans crying ‘no’ in the background.

“I just need a rest. I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now,” she continued. “I want to live my life that I’ve been building and I will miss you terribly,”

Adele previously had to take a break from her Las Vegas shows due to a vocal injury. After her vocal rest, she announced the postponed dates of Weekends with Adele as ‘The Final Shows’ on Instagram.
Adele’s tour follows her most recent album, 30, which was released in 2021. It has won 6 Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year. In 2021, her record also won the Brit Award for British Album of the Year.
